Shot in Minnesota, The Toilers And The Wayfarers is a refreshing voice from another part of the gay experience in America. Froelich masters his black-and-white tale with great style and elegance, and his young blond cast, all unknowns, lend a sexy authenticity to the film. The film marks Mr. Froelich’s auspicious feature film directorial debut.
