Shizue Seigel, director of Write Now! SF Bay, has supported 400+ writers and artists of color through workshops, events and publications since 2015. As a 3rd-generation Japanese American, she treasures the rich cultural and social legacy of the Fillmore, Japantown and the Bay Area.
