Originally from Finland, Mia has over 20 years of experience teaching children and adults worldwide about regenerative practices of earth-based cultures. She is the founder, executive, and instructor of Vilda, an organization committed to fostering a profound connection with the natural world. Mia is also the author of The Bay Area Forager and Sierra Forager, guidebooks on edible wild plants.
