Come watch films created by, acted by and about people with disabilities. A wide array of films curated by The Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability in partnership with San Francisco Public Library's  Talking Books and Braille Center and the Deaf Services Center.

For more than 30 years, Superfest has celebrated cutting-edge cinema portraying disability through a diverse, complex and engaging lens, evolving from a small Los Angeles showcase in 1970 into an international event. The Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State is excited to welcome the San Francisco Disability Cultural Center (DCC) as its new partner in 2024. Together, they share a mission of fostering spaces where disability culture and creativity thrive. The festival has grown from a single-day event to a robust year-round program, including community showcases, a virtual and in-person festival and groundbreaking panel discussions, all while staying true to its core value of prioritizing access for disabled filmgoers.
