Between Two Worlds: The Documentary is a visual sequel to Megan Reyes' award-nominated podcast of the same name. This short film is about discovering heritage as Megan visits her homeland for the first time, the growth of soccer in the Philippines, and the impact of the Philippine women's national team.

Megan Reyes is a sports marketing professional turned award-winning host and multi-hyphenate creative passionate about growing soccer through stories of identity, culture, and belonging. She is currently the in-stadium host for San Diego Wave FC (NWSL) and partners with the world’s top brands, including Nike, Google, adidas, Coca-Cola and Capital One. 

In 2023 Megan was a recipient of the Hashtag Sports Creators of Color award for her impactful work amplifying diverse audiences in sport.

A first-generation Filipino-American, Megan has an inherent curiosity for exploring identity. In 2023, she wrote, co-produced, and hosted Between Two Worlds, a narrative podcast examining the Filipino-American experience in parallel with the Philippine women’s national team’s journey to the country’s first-ever FIFA World Cup. The project gained earned media from BBC, CNN, and NBC and was a Best Storytelling finalist for the 2023 North American Soccer Business and Media Awards. She directed and executive produced a visual spin-off of the podcast, Between Two Worlds: The Documentary. The short documentary film is about discovering heritage, the growth of soccer in the Philippines, and the impact of the Philippine women's national team.
