To celebrate Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AANHPI), join us for a lively pop music performance by Alice & the Wave Band. Alice & the Wave is extremely diverse in the music domain, and was rated as "Sensational Band of the Orient" by Bay Area FM 96.5 KOIT radio. The leader Alice Lui got invited to perform at the 2023 APEC Reception & Gala, sang in 8 languages with her band in front of 21 countries’ world leaders/distinguish representatives, sharing stage with Don Felder (from the Eagles) who was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2016. 

A partnership between Global Chinese Pop Music Association and the Chinese Center of San Francisco Public Library.

為慶祝美国亚裔/太平洋岛民傳統月,來自浪花樂隊Alice & the Wave 的中英流行音樂表演  浪花樂隊 Alice & the Wave 音樂領域十分多元化,被美國主流電台FM96.5 KOIT 譽為 “東方最有動感的樂隊”。2023年被 APEC(亞太經合組織)接待晚宴邀請了21個國家的領袖和代表參加演出。當天,領班Alice Lui與同樂隊演唱了八國語言歌曲,並與世界知名的美國樂隊Eagles的Don Felder同台演出。

此次活動由全球華人流行音樂總會和三藩市圆書館華裔中心合作舉辦

Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from AANHPI communities.

Events featuring theater, music, art and dance.
