Discuss a haunting work of climate fiction set in a submerged Netherlands. Sea Now by Eva Meijer, translated by Anne Thompson Melo, follows three women who set out by boat to search for loved ones in a world reshaped by rising seas and reclaimed by seabirds, whales and kelp forests. Explore themes of resilience, loss and environmental change while reflecting on the novel’s blend of philosophy and nature writing.
