Make fermented foods with June Jo Lee, Food Ethnographer and award-winning children's book author. Lee will offer a kimchi demo, read-aloud and krautchi-making activity from her new book, Sandor Katz and The Tiny Wild, a Kirkus Review "Best Picture Book Biographies 2022." June Jo and co-author Jacqueline Briggs Martin also co-wrote Chef Roy Choi and The Street Food Remix, a 2018 Seibert Honor Book. For children ages 4 and older. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult who will assist them in participating in the program. Space limited.
