Activity: SF Ballet's Nutcracker Inspired Chair Dance & Oral History

This magical holiday tradition starts with a 30-minute talk about San Francisco Ballet’s long history of performing the Nutcracker, followed by a 30-minute fun and easy Nutcracker-​Inspired Chair Dance Class. Gather your household together and dance to the famous Tchaikovsky score. Suitable for all ages and abilities. 

The American holiday tradition of Nutcracker performances started here in San Francisco in 1944. This event is a perfect stand-alone Nutcracker experience from home or as an introduction before watching a live performances of Nutcracker in the SF War Memorial Opera House from Dec​ember 13th-30th.
