Learn about important topics like climate justice, environmental science and sustainability—both on a global level and in their own communities. For ages 12 –15. Space limited. Reservations required: email gabbielistana@gmail.com and 26mnguyen@shcp.edu.
Through interactive sessions and group activities, rising 7th through 9th graders in the Bay Area will build their knowledge and apply what they’ve learned by creating a community-focused environmental project. They’ll participate in a series of hands-on, youth-led workshops designed for students interested in environmental issues and youth advocacy. In addition, they’ll receive helpful feedback and mentorship from real-world professionals working in fields like environmental policy, advocacy and education.
