本次导览将以普通话进行。请在下午2点前到达集合地点,逾时不候

Take a deep dive into good old Chinatown ---- where San Francisco was born, and Chinese American history and modern Chinese history took root. This neighborhood has seen it all: earthquakes, lawsuits, revolutions, secret societies, and some very crowded housing. On this guided walk, you’ll learn how some of the most celebrated legal cases in American history were fought right here, why 70% of early Chinese immigrants came from one small county in China the size of Santa Clara, and how Chinatown has survived waves of displacement attempts to remain a cultural and spiritual home for generations. Lace up your shoes ---- we’re heading into Chinatown’s past, present, and your future favorite stories.

The tour will be given in Mandarin. Please arrive at the meeting point by 2:00 PM. Latecomers may not be accommodated.

Meet across from the elevators in Portsmouth Square, Washington between Kearney and Grant. Space is limited. Reservations required: Please call: (415) 557-4430 or click online registration
