Delight in stories shared by Drag Story Hour performer Linda Summers, as she takes you on an enchanted tour that celebrates a rainbow of diversity, fun and the unique value and worth of each of us. For children and their caregivers.

Drag Story Hour (DSH) is just what it sounds like—drag performers reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress-up is real.

Linda Summers is a proud Guatemalan-American drag performer and philanthropist deeply rooted in the San Francisco community. She has earned multiple titles, including Miss Gay San Francisco (2020), Miss Castro Country Club (2022), and Absolute Empress 59 de San Francisco. As Empress, she helped raise over $60,000 to support community organizations such as SF Night Ministry, the Castro Country Club, the GLBT Historical Society, and At The Crossroads. Through every performance and every act of service, Linda embodies pride, Latina power, and a radiant spirit that continues to shine brighter than ever.

Books, songs, movement and more. For toddlers 16 months through age 2 and their caregivers.
