The San Francisco Public Library celebrates the initiation of its first SF Youth Poet Laureates program with its new reading series, San Francisco Living Poets Society, curated by SF Poet Laureate Genny Lim in collaboration with Youth Speaks and 826 Valencia. The readings launch in January and will introduce our city’s newly selected Youth Poet Laureate cohort members to the public, along with a who’s who of local poets and an open mic, at participating SF Branch Libraries. This reading will feature Youth Poet Katelyn Wong and local poet Clara Hsu in an intergenerational poetry reading, followed by an open mic where poets are welcome to share their work.
