Explore the vibrant traditions of West African and South Asian dance and drumming in this interactive workshop led by Duniya Dance and Drum Company. Participants will learn movement and rhythm rooted in traditional forms while engaging in a hands-on cultural experience. 

Duniya is a racial‑justice performing arts organization founded and led by West African and South Asian traditional artists. Their work centers cultural exchange, community building, and social justice, with a commitment to uplifting and valuing BIPOC artists across the Bay Area.

Weaving Stories: Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Interest

Programs and workshops, book recommendations and more relating to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) heritage.

Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from AANHPI communities.
