Roberto Lovato es un escritor y periodista trabajando en el San Francisco Writer's Grotto. Recientemente completó un compromiso de 3 años como erudito visitante en el Center for Latino Policy Research de U.C. Berkeley. Roberto también recibió una subvención de cobertura de crisis del Pulitzer Center. Su trabajo periodístico se extiende por todo el hemisferio y se centra en algunos de los asuntos fronterizos bárbaros de nuestros tiempos: inmigración, la guerra contra las drogas, la seguridad nacional y el cambio climático. Su trabajo también explora el vínculo íntimo entre el mundo en línea y fuera de línea, entre la narración y los movimientos sociales. Lovato es cofundador de Dignidad Literaria, una campaña comunitaria para mayor inclusión latinx en la industria editorial de los Estados Unidos, que ha llamado la atención de activistas y ejecutivos de las editoriales por igual.
