Dear Mission patron,
We have some exciting news to share: Your beloved Mission Branch will officially reopen on Saturday, November 14!
Join us for a festive community celebration that afternoon featuring a ribbon-cutting, a blessing for the newly renovated space by Danza Azteca Xitlalli-Xolotl, entertainment featuring Lucha Libro and René y Familia, and activities for the whole family.
The Mission Temporary Branch at 1234 Valencia St. will close at 6 p.m. on October 31 in advance of the Mission Branch reopening on November 14.
We will reopen at our restored historic entrance at 3359 24th St. on Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m.
We can’t thank you enough for your patience and support as we worked with San Francisco Public Works and SJ Amoroso to bring this project across the finish line. We can’t wait for you to experience your new library. More details to come.
